Itinerary Overview
Zanzibar island is exciting tropical beach destination to visit. Many travelers who book a Zanzibar beach resorts, can also go to Tanzania main land safari. It is easier to combine this vacation travel places, through scheduled cheap flights from Zanzibar to Arusha, and then Arusha safari city to Zanzibar.
This is 2 days safari to see big 5 wildlife, beautiful landscape, and the great rift valley of Ngorongoro crater. You will visit Tarangire National Park, and Ngorongoro crater.
ITINERARY DESCRIPTION BY DAY
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire distance is 128 km, like 3 hours drive
After breakfast, at 07.00 am depart to Tarangire National Park. We take picnic lunch boxes, sothat when you arrive in Tarangire, you will proceed with afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a home to Lion, Leopard, and Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed. This park has many baobab trees and some varieties of acacias, whereas Tarangire pythons climb trees, and the one place in Tanzania. Get dinner and overnight at the Budget Safari Lodge or Resort at Mto wa Mbu Area.
Day 2: Full Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater
Do full day game viewing tour in the Ngorongoro Crater. Wake up early morning for breakfast then descend into the Crater floor for game drives. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera; others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater. At the late afternoon drive back to Arusha. Distance Ngorongoro to Arusha is 3.5 hours

Note: Other safari options are available, so we make a custom safari offer according to the clients’ interests. If the visitors are interested with wildebeest migration, we must include Serengeti National Park. And also, if client need special wildlife experience like calving season, we add Serengeti and travel season is end of January, February and early March.
