Empakai crater hiking to Lake Natron 

We offer an exclusive wildlife safari by trekking from Empakai crater in Ngorongoro conservation area, to the Lake Natron, via great rift valley. Our trip ends at the base of Oldonyo Lengai Mountain, our 4 x 4 safari jeep pick up to the more comfortable accommodation in Lake Natron. This is a flexible travel adventure that has options for a 4 x 4 game drive in a Ngorongoro crater. All in all, off the beaten path safari features wildlife habits and watches fauna and flora in their natural areas, also peoples and culture like the Maasai nomadic community. Furthermore, the trip can be longer to include the great migration in Serengeti National park, and Ngorongoro crater tour.

The journey involves hiking Empakai through diverse landscapes, including the volcanic crater, the rift valley escarpment, and the shores of Lake Natron. All in all, during the trek, accommodation is a backpacker tent, with toilet and shower outside in a tourist campground. One of the backpacking campsites is within Maasai village, a semi-nomadic community. Now, look at great rift valley itinerary, a flexible travel deal to suit your interests.

Day 01: After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro conservation area.

You will travel for 3 hours, and arrive at Ngorongoro gate, register and proceed to the Empakai crater, Our cook will set tents, and prepare food. You will begin hiking, and walking safari with a Ngorongoro armed ranger. We will provide lunch boxes, and bottled drink water. In the late afternoon, before sunset return to the camp at the Ngorongoro Empakai camp

Day 02: Walking safari with Donkeys, and maasai warrior guide

After breakfast, our cook will pack a lunch box, give you water. And start trekking through Ngorongoro wilderness attractions, and walk to the Acacia camp. Donkeys will carry supplies such as drink water, food, tents, and all necessary stuff. Overnight at Acacia camp

Day 3: Walk to base of Oldonyo Lengai

After breakfast, you continue trekking to the base of Oldonyo lengai, near Lake Natron, and meet our safari car jeep. Will drive you to Lake Natron Giraffe eco Lodge or Lake Natron Camp. Here you can relax more, and explore Lake Natron and its attractions. Will visit Lake natron shoes, a ramsar site and East Africa famous breeding for Flamingo birds.

Day 04: After breakfast, explore Engaresero waterfall, hike and see the amazing nature waterfall. And then return to get lunch. Then you are ready to travel back to Arusha city. Overnight at the Hotel
