9 Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron

ITINERARY DESCRIPTION BY DAY

Day 1:

 Arrive at the Kilimanjaro Airport, JRO, we meet and transfer to Golden Crest Hotel or Tulia Hotel spa

Day 02:

After breakfast, depart Arusha and arrive to Tarangire over a tarmac road of about 120 km.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, lunch at the lodge and proceed with afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a home to Lion, Leopard, and Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed. This park has many baobab trees and some varieties of acacias, whereas Tarangire pythons climb trees, and the one place in Tanzania. Get dinner and overnight at the BAOBAB TENTED CAMP.

Day 03:

Spend another day in Tarangire park, a safari park famous for magnificent landscape, and variety of animal species. Also, Sunset in this park, is an exciting experience. In the late afternoon, drive slowly to Karatu *near Ngorongoro gate), and have dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house Lodge.

Day 4: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation area distance is about 60 km

Do full day game viewing tour in the Ngorongoro Crater. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera; others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater. Get Dinner and Overnight at the SERENA Lodge

DAY 05: Ngorongoro crater to Serengeti

After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and drive to Serengeti with game drives en route. On your journey, you have picnic Lunch so that when you arrive to Serengeti you proceed with game drives in the park. Serengeti is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. Get dinner and overnight in the Semi Luxury Camp – TANZANIA BUSH CAMP.

Day 6: 

Do full Day wildlife tours in Serengeti National Park, get breakfast then follows morning and afternoon game drives; tour to Seronera the center of Serengeti. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera and following wildebeest migration trend. In the afternoon continue with game viewing in Central Serengeti area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration has passed. Get dinner and overnight in the Semi Luxury Camp -TANZANIA BUSH CAMP

Day 7: 

Does full day game drive in Serengeti, Dinner and overnight at the Semi Luxury Camp or Safari Lodge -TANZANIA BUSH CAMP

Day 8 :

  After breakfast, depart north east to Kleins gate with wildlife tours en route. Then cross to Lake Natron. This spectacular area located just north east of the Ngorongoro Crater and forms part of Africa’s immense Great Rift Valley. Nestled between rolling volcanic hills and deep craters, Lake Natron sits at the lowest point of the rift valley – 600m above sea level – and is probably the world’s most caustic body of water. The lake lays at the foot of the Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano. Flamingos find a safe breeding ground at Lake Natron, since most other animals find its caustic environment and high temperature of the lake (up to 60°C) as well as its high salinity inhospitable. The accommodation is Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge.

Day 9:  

After breakfast, take a beautiful walk to the Engare Sero gorge where there are several waterfalls and springs.

You can opt for a half day or a full day tour. You walk to the waterfalls where you can swim and cool off. This oasis is a beautiful mix of tropical palm trees and volcanic rocks. The Accommodation is also Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge

Day 10.  

After breakfast, depart to Arusha city with sightseeing, have hot lunch in Arusha.
